To prevent umbrella cover failure

caused by rib penetration under extreme weather conditions, our umbrellas offer

an integrated pocket design system.

The rib endcap, exclusive to Oceanz,

diffuses the load pressure during high wind conditions, significantly reducing failures.

The raised wind vent feature is exclusive to Oceanz umbrellas and serves two purposes. First, it allows greater air flow to pass through the canopy, increasing durability in gusty winds. Second, the raised vent feature allows hot air to escape with little or no wind movement creating a cooler setting for your comfort.

All Oceanz Marine Grade umbrella covers are sewn with Marine Grade UV stabilized 138mm threading. A two-stitch process

is used during manufacturing including

a “top stitch” that creates a 3-layer seam joint, resulting in increased strength of

all seams.

All exposed ends are manufactured with a self-edging face which reduces frayed ends, thus extending the life of the umbrella fabric cover.
